Samuel Etang ...Gone too Soon!

The cold hands of death has snatched yet another. Comrade Samuel Etang was an AK15 and a very dedicated student of Akwa Ibom State University in the department of Microbiology. He was the Director of Sports, Faculty of Natural and Applied Science.

Born February 24 1986 ,Mr. Samuel Etang hailed from Etinan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Etang fell ill recently and his family took him for treatment in hospitals in Etinan, Eket and Uyo. A funeral service has been slated to hold Saturday the 16th of September, 2017 at Etang's family compound, along Lagos street, Etinan LGA by 10am.

Some of his fellow course-mates bared their mind thus:
"Comrade Samuel Etang was an AK15 fighter, Eyen Iman Ibom, a political icon, microbiologist and a devoted student to the cold hands of death. You were so peaceful and loving and so committed to the things of Etinan Students Association. Finally, a hero and brother is gone. If money could bring you back, I will spend all I have. If tears could do so, I will cry all night. You have left a space, no one will be able to fill"...
Mr. Uwakmfon Michael

"Oh Ukangs mi as I fondly call you. I cant believe you are gone....may your gentle soul rest in the bosom of Abraham. Amen" Anietimfon Quincy U.

"A hero is gone. A strong microbiologist. A strong politician. A brother and friend. Oh death why? Your last few days in class was fun before the strike, you never knew you won't return after the strike. Samuel Ekang.. I pray God to accept your soul and give you eternal rest. Rest on Brother. AKSU will miss you." Grace Archibong

The thoughts and prayers of the Akwa Ibom State University community are with the family and may God Almighty grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost. Adieu Comrade Samuel Ekang.
